Philosophy

The MSc and PhD programmes in Human Physiology are meant to lead to the training of Physiologists with firm theoretical and methodological grasp; to help them become leading researchers and scholars in the field. It is envisaged that the programmes will lead to the emergence of high quality Physiologists who will continuously contribute to the development of the discipline.

Programme Objectives

The program is designed to fulfill the following objectives:

  • To meet the manpower need of the University and beyond.

  • To provide opportunities for our graduates for further academic and professional development in their chosen fields.

  • To provide high level training for stakeholders in medical education thereby enhancing quality assurance in the system at all levels.

  • To improve the quality of research in contemporary medical issues relating to specific areas of interest to the nation.
