The Abdulsamad Rabiu International Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ASR-iCIE) UNDP Unipod has opened its fabrication and prototyping laboratory.
The room gives students and start-ups on the pod a bench of their own: two 3D printers, a small CNC router for light timber and acrylic work, a soldering station and a repair bench with hand tools.
Access is free for registered students of the University. Start-ups and community groups are asked to book a slot in advance so that the bench is not taken for the day.
